Frequently Asked Question

For more information, please contact us
What services do you offer for custom injection molds and plastic parts? +
We provide one-stop services including product evaluation, DFM support, mold design, mold making, injection molding mass production and basic assembly or packaging. We can build new tools from your 2D/3D drawings or reference samples.
What information do I need to provide for a quotation? +
Please send 2D/3D files (STEP, IGS, X_T or similar), expected material (e.g. ABS, PC, PP, PA, POM, TPE etc.), part weight or size, surface finish requirements, estimated annual volume and special requirements such as tolerance, insert parts or overmolding.
Can you help optimize my design before opening the mold? +
Yes. Our engineering team can review your design for manufacturability (DFM), suggest gate and parting line positions, wall thickness optimization, draft angles and structural changes to reduce risk of deformation, sink marks and short shots before mold fabrication.
What materials and surface finishes can you offer? +
We work with most engineering plastics and elastomers, and can recommend suitable resins based on mechanical, thermal and cosmetic requirements. Available finishes include texture, polishing, painting, UV coating, soft-touch coating, screen printing, hot stamping and electroplating.
What is your typical lead time for mold making and mass production? +
Lead time depends on part complexity and cavity number. Prototype or small production molds typically take 3–4 weeks, while multi-cavity production molds may require 4–6 weeks. After sample approval, standard mass production usually takes 7–15 working days depending on order quantity.
Do you provide samples? Are mold trial samples free? +
We always provide T1 or T2 samples for mold trials. Standard trial samples are usually included in the mold cost. If you need additional samples or special color runs, we can arrange them with a small extra charge according to your project.
Who owns the mold? Can you store and maintain it for us? +
The mold belongs to the customer after full payment. We can keep the mold in our factory free of charge for ongoing production, perform routine maintenance and minor repairs, and schedule preventive checks to ensure stable quality and mold life.
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ) for injection-molded parts? +
For new molds and customized parts, MOQ is usually negotiated based on part size, material and production cost. We support low-volume runs for new projects and can scale up to high-volume production once the market demand is confirmed.
